Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Vedic Cosmic Compass (“we”, “us”), the astrology practice of Subhash Vashisht, handles information when you visit this website or contact us. We keep this simple: the website is designed to collect as little as possible.

Information this website collects

This website does not have user accounts, does not process payments, and does not store the information you type into it. Like almost every website, the server that hosts it may automatically record standard technical information — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — in server logs, for security and reliability.

The contact form

The form on our Contact page does not send or store your details on this website. When you submit it, your browser composes a WhatsApp message with the information you entered and opens WhatsApp. The message is only sent if you choose to send it from WhatsApp.

WhatsApp conversations

When you contact us on WhatsApp, the information you share — such as your name, phone number, birth details and questions — is received by Subhash Vashisht in order to respond to you and provide your consultation. Messages are transmitted through WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp LLC / Meta and governed by its own privacy policy.

Birth details and questions you share are used only to prepare and provide your consultation and to communicate with you. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for marketing.

Email

If you email us at vediccosmiccompass@gmail.com, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply to you.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set its own cookies and does not currently use analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser may remember a small preference on your device (such as an article filter) using local storage; this never leaves your device. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.

Third-party services

• Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address as part of that request.
• WhatsApp — used for bookings and communication.

External links

This website links to external services including WhatsApp, Instagram, X (Twitter) and our Google Business Profile. When you follow those links, the privacy policy of that service applies. We are not responsible for the practices of external sites.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete the information you have shared with us over WhatsApp or email at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or writing to vediccosmiccompass@gmail.com.

Children

Our consultations are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
